Installing TeamViewer

I wanted to be able to control my Ubuntu server/pc from anywhere so I decided to install Teamviewer, which comes as a free version too. Anyway since I installed Ubuntu 64 bit I thought I might needed to install the 64-bit version but somehow the Ubuntu Software Center won’t install that deb-file so I tried the 32-bit which just worked right away.

I just went to the TeamViewer website and clicked on download deb – then selected open with Ubuntu Software Center.

open teamviewer deb

After the download Ubuntu Software Center will start and you just click install. Now TeamViewer is ready to go.
